Indiana Superdelegate Throws Support To Barack

On the heel's of our post about the tenuous position of Indiana's congressional superdelegates, Indianapolis Rep. Andre Carson decided to announce his support for Barack Obama today.

The AP reports that Carson thinks "Obama represents a new generation of leadership who will fight for hardworking Americans." Two North Carolina superdelegates, Reps. David Price and Mel Watt, also endorsed Obama today.

Carson is the first of Indiana's five Democratic House members to endorse either presidential candidate.
