Chicago's own Don Wiener unearthed a great video of Barack Obama speaking at a labor rally in Chicago in 2003, at the outset of his U.S. Senate bid. He only speaks for about 90 seconds, but he's fired up to say the least. And you can hear many of the same themes from his current campaign. He talks about the importance of a "decent wage for a day's work." He says we "shouldn't be investing $87 billion in Iraq when we can invest $87 billion right here." And he tells the crowd he's fighting so "everybody gets a piece of the American dream."
