Reporting from Michelle Obama's event at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago yesterday, NBC5's Carol Marin interviewed one notable guest -- Paula Wolff, a longtime aide to GOP Gov. Jim Thompson. As her attendance at the event indicated, she is supporting Barack Obama's presidential campaign despite her Republican Party affiliation. Wolff told Marin it was the first time she has supported a Democratic presidential candidate "publicly":
