Obama Lead Widens In Battleground States
Barack Obama now holds a
double-digit lead over John McCain in the battleground states of
Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin, and carries a nine-point advantage in
Colorado, according to a new Quinnipiac poll.

A New Break For The Wrongfully Convicted
Former Illinois inmates deemed wrongfully convicted will begin
taking advantage of a new law today that allows them to go straight to
the courts -- rather than waiting on a gubernatorial clemency -- for
certificates of innocence. The new law is expected to speed up
compensation for those who wrongly served prison.
