On Sunday, February 1, Independent Voters of Illinois-Independent Precinct Organization (IVI-IPO), Northside Democracy for America, and a slew of other groups (including Progress Illinois) are sponsoring a forum with the Democratic candidates in the 5th Congressional District race. The event will be moderated by the Sun-Times' Lynn Sweet and held at the DePaul Student Center on the North Side of Chicago, beginning at 1 p.m.

We urge any readers from the district, as well as anyone interested in the race, to attend the forum. As Ben Joravsky pointed out last week, it falls on the same day as the Super Bowl, but will conclude hours before kick-off.
