We've previously publicized the Access Living forum for the 5th Congressional District candidates, which is happening tomorrow at 2pm and which Prairie State Blue plans to live-blog. But there a couple other events that also bear mentioning.
First, Illinois PIRG, AARP, and the AIDS Foundation of Chicago are holding a separate, health care-oriented forum tomorrow evening. It will take place from 7-9pm at Chicago's 2nd Unitarian Chuch, located at 656 W. Barry. Confirmed candidates include: Mike Quigley, Sara Feigenholtz, John Fritchey, Pat O'Connor, Tom Geogheghan, Charlie Wheelan, and five others. If you have questions, please contact: emiller(at)illinoispirg(dot)org.
Next Sunday, February 22, the Lakeview Citizens Council is holding a forum as well. This one will take place from 5-7pm at the Inter American School at 851 W. Waveland. Ben Bradley of Channel 7 WLS will be the moderator. Over 20 candidates have confirmed, including all of those listed above. If you want to submit questions for the candidates or ask them of the organizers, please contact: info(at)lakeviewcitizens(dot)org.

What I'd like to know is why Wheelan's campaign signs are mostly in front of shuttered businesses. Has anyone else noticed this? If he comes around with a sign to hang, i would tell him, "No thanks! I don't want my place jinxed!"
