Flores Baffled That TIF Transparency Ordinance Is Stalled

Ald. Manny Flores (1st Ward) recently appeared on Comcast's Newsmakers to discuss the important TIF transparency ordinance introduced this year by himself and colleague Scott Waguespack (32nd Ward).  During the interview, host Paul Lisnek asked him why the measure was stuck in committee, adding: "I don't understand why anybody would have an objection."  Flores answered: "I don't know."  Watch it:

Of course, Lisnek's final question -- "Does the mayor support it?" -- gets closer to the real reason why the measure isn't advancing.
