At a press conference in D.C. today, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and Attorney General Eric Holder warned that so-called "mortgage rescue" scams are on the rise across the country and announced a coordinated crackdown among federal and state agencies. Also at the press conference was Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, who has targeted almost two dozen mortgage rescue outfits here in Illinois. Watch her remarks below:
