Number Of The Day: $997,076

That's how much taxpayers forked over to fund an office maintained by former U.S. House Speaker Denny Hastert in west suburban Yorkville.  According to the Tribune, "[f]ederal law allows former House speakers to maintain a taxpayer-funded office anywhere in the United States for up to five years."  My question: Do former presidents get anything comparable?
