In a discussion last night, Chicago Ald. Edward Burke (14th Ward) restated his support for mayoral candidate Gery Chico, saying he would be "hard-pressed not to" endorse his campaign. Burke, whose allies circulated petitions
for Chico in the fall, spoke at the Society of Midland Authors meeting
Tuesday. He noted that Chico once worked for him and that Chico helped
Burke's brother, Daniel, win his campaign for State Representative.
