Illinois lawmakers have voted to reject Gov. Pat Quinn's veto of a bill that would allow ComEd to hike customer rates in order to digitize Illinois' electrical grid.
The Illinois House Executive Committee approved a bill Tuesday that
would bring high-volume oil and gas drilling to southern portions of the
Gov. Pat Quinn and Mayor Rahm Emanuel agreed Monday that the
Illinois Gaming Board should have regulatory authority over a proposed gambling expansion package.
