Mayor Daley said yesterday that there's no stopping major Chicago Transit Authority service cuts set to take effect February 7. In an effort to trim $95 million from the budget, the transit agency plans to eliminate nine express bus routes and reduce frequency and hours of service on nearly 200 bus and train routes.
