Today, former Republican Gov. Jim Edgar, who supported Kirk Dillard in the party's gubernatorial primary, said that he "suspect[s]" Bill Brady's lead will "hold up." 

While Dillard currently trails by 406 votes, he is yet to concede and is reportedly considering whether to initiate a recount, which would takes months to complete.
