In a recent decision, the U.S. Supreme Court dismissed a case that sought to close some Chicago-area locks in an effort to prevent the Asian carp from entering the Great Lakes.  Now Michigan has filed a counter suit that includes new evidence of the invasive species' DNA in the Chicago River.
