Amanda J. Eneman, Scott Lee Cohen’s former live-in girlfriend, responded today to the controversy surrounding the Democratic lieutenant governor nominee.  Celebrity attorney Gloria Allred said: "Based on her personal observations during the course of their relationship and his behavior, Ms. Eneman does not believe that he is fit to hold any public office, including that of Lt. Governor." 

In a 2005 police report, the then-24-year-old alleged that he held a knife to her throat during an argument.  Cohen was arrested, but the charges were dropped after Eneman did not show up for a court appearance.  That same year, she pled guilty to prostitution.
