Sun-Times columnist Michael Sneed reports today that Gov. Quinn wants former Illinois veterans chief Tammy Duckworth to join him on the gubernatorial ticket.  Duckworth is currently serving as the assistant secretary for public and intergovernmental affairs for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

UPDATE (11:05 a.m.): Sources tell NBC 5's Mary Ann Ahern that Duckworth is "not likely" to leave her job in D.C. to join Quinn's ticket.
