Following up on a report from WBEZ, the Tribune writes that Republican lieutenant governor nominee Jason Plummer's "resume shows that his leadership experience may be more limited than his rhetoric and campaign bio suggest."
Among his many exaggerations, Plummer highlighted his service as a Navy intelligence officer even though he received his commission just six months ago and has yet to undergo training. He also took credit for launching a wireless Internet provider while still at college, but public records show his father owned the company. Plummer spent $1.33 million of his family's wealth to win the race.
