If Republican gubernatorial frontrunner, state Sen. Bill Brady (R-Bloomington), is so confident that he can cut taxes and still close the state's $13 billion budget hole, then he ought to prove it. That's what Senate President John Cullerton (D-Chicago) had to say today. Cullerton is publicly challenging Brady to present a detailed plan for balancing the budget -- complete with specific cuts -- ahead of the November election.
