A group of laid-off Chicago Transit Authority workers expressed anger at both the transit unions and CTA management at a gathering Friday at St. Sabina Catholic Church on the South Side. The two sides have not met since February 7, after CTA officials requested the bus and rail unions give back this year's 3.5 percent salary increase and accept 10 unpaid furlough days, concessions that would reopen the union's contract.
