On the day the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments challenging Chicago’s handgun ban, an Illinois House committee approved a bill that would let residents carry concealed firearms -- even on college campuses. State Rep. Julie Hamos (D-Chicago) cast the sole "no" vote against the measure, which is sponsored by State Rep. John Bradley (D-Marion).
