U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez met with embattled developer Calvin Boender and Mayor Richard Daley to push for approval of a controversial real estate venture, according to testimony yesterday from Denise Casalino, former commissioner with the Chicago's Department of Planning and Development. While knowledge of the meeting was not previously known, Gutierrez has not been charged with any wrongdoing.
