On March 27, the Democratic State Central Committee will finally meet to decide who will replace Scott Lee Cohen on the party's gubernatorial ticket, according to a letter (PDF) released by party chairman Michael Madigan’s office. Before the final meeting, the committeemen will split into subcommittees to hear candidate's pitches in four cities (Chicago, Hoffman Estates, Bolingbrook and Springfield) on March 20.
