The Democrat State Central Committee has whittled the list of potential lieutenant governor candidates down to 17 finalists, includingState Sen. Susan Garrett, State Reps. Art Turner and Mike Boland, and former state treasurer candidate Raja Krishnamoorthi.  The committeemen will hold a final vote on the nomination next Saturday.
