Thousands of protesters descended on downtown Springfield Wednesday as part of the Responsible Budget Coalition's Save Our State Rally. A day after Gov. Pat Quinn and the four legislative leaders made little progress discussing the deficit, the protestors rallied in favor of comprehensive tax reform, including an income tax increase.
