Former Alaskan Governor of Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin will headline a fundraiser for the Illinois GOP on May 12 at the Westin O'Hare in Rosemont. The cost of admission is steep, with prices for the general reception starting at $500 per person and climbing to $25,000 if you want to partake in a roundtable and get a photo with Palin. No word yet on whether GOP Senate candidate Mark Kirk (who sought her endorsement last November) will attend.

(UPDATE 1:25) The Tribune is reporting that Kirk will not be attending the fundraiser.
