In the race for Cook County Board president, Democratic nominee Toni Preckwinkle has raised $1.3 million in campaign contributions since the beginning of the year while her two opponents -- Republican Roger Keats and Green Party candidate Tom Tresser -- brought in a combined $22,300. Meanwhile, Illinois Senate President John Cullerton (D-Chicago) and House Speaker Michael Madigan (D-Chicago) reported huge cash advantages over their GOP counterparts.
