Chicago Public Schools officials have suggested a list of concessions its asking teachers to take in an effort to close a $370 million budget hole. While district officials won't discuss the options publicly, the Tribune reports that frozen wages, unpaid holidays, and unpaid school recesses are all on the table. CPS has already fired 600 teachers this summer.
