Chicago Public Schools CEO Ron Huberman said Friday that the district will use the infusion of assistance from Washington to restore high school class sizes to normal levels. It is not clear if all 500 high school teachers recently laid off would be called back to work. Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis said she was "ecstatic" about the news.
