Gutierrez Interested In Mayoral Race

U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez is forming an exploratory committee to consider running for Chicago's mayor, a source close to the congressman said Tuesday. State Sen. Kwame Raoul (D-Chicago) and Illinois Commerce Commission Chairman Manny Flores also say they are interested in the vacancy, joining a growing list of potential candidates that includes Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart, retiring Cook County Assessor James Houlihan, and several Chicago aldermen.
