State Sen. Bill Brady (R-Bloomington) said he's willing to wait for up to a month while the remaining ballots from yesterday's election are counted to see if he can overcome Gov. Pat Quinn's lead in the gubernatorial race. The Associated Press estimated some 50,000 absentee and provisional ballots have yet to be tallied. Quinn is up by more than 16,000 votes.
UPDATE (8:28 a.m.): With all precincts reporting, Gov. Quinn now leads Bill Brady by 19,561 votes.
