The public disclosure of public employee evaluations was banned by the Illinois House today. The House voted 77-36 to override Gov. Pat Quinn's amendatory veto of a bill (HB 5154) to prohibit the release of employee evaluations under the Freedom of Information Act. The governor had pushed to keep secret only the evaluations of police officers.
