After days of speculation, two White House officials are telling the Associated Press that Bill Daley, the former U.S. Commerce Secretary and executive at J.P. Morgan Chase, will take over as the new chief of staff. Daley, the brother of Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, will take over the position from interim White House Chief of Staff Peter Rouse, who took over the position after the departure of Chicago mayoral candidate Rahm Emanuel.
