A federal judge denied a request by Antoin "Tony" Rezko for a new trial. Rezko's attorneys argued that a recent Supreme Court ruling changed the way in which the honest services law can be prosectued. The judge ruled that the ruling did not have an effect on Rezko's conviction on corruption charges.
