U.S. Senate Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) announced the Senate will not be taking a 10-day July 4th vacation and instead will stay in D.C. to work on the budget and debt limit. The comes one day after President Obama criticized Congress for taking a break without making strides to avoid a financial Armageddon. Republicans still insist they will not accept tax increases or raise the debt ceiling.
