U.S. Senator Dick Durbin is expected to endorse Tammy Duckworth for the 8th Congressional District seat. The announcement will be made during a visit to Bley LLC, an Elk Grove Village manufacturing company, to highlight federal incentives that have helped the company, according to a release. This is the second major endorsement for Duckworth, who on Friday was fully endorsed by EMILY's List.

Duckworth will face Raja Krishnamoorthi in the Democratic primary election for the 8th Congressional District seat, currently held by embattled Tea Party favorite, Joe Walsh (R-8). Duckworth, of Hoffman Estates, stepped down from the VA office earlier this summer to run for Congress for a second time.
