Next week, former congresswoman Debbie Halvorson will make her intentions known when it comes to whether she'll run against Jesse Jackson Jr. in the 2nd congressional district, according to WBEZ. Halvorson, who lost her 11th district seat to Adam Kinzinger (R) last year, was remapped into Jackson Jr.'s district. 

Chicago alderman Anthony Beale is also rumored to considering a run in the 2nd congressional district.
