The U.S. Supreme Court has decided to take up the case involving a controversial law requiring Arizona police officers to check the immigration status of anyone they have in custody and suspect of being in the country illegally. The law also requires all immigrants to have residency paperwork on-hand at all times and prohibits immigrants from seeking work in public without such documentation. The controversial piece of legislation was signed into law by Republican Governor Jan Brewer in April 2010.
Lawyers will begin arguing the case to the Court in April and a ruling is expected in July.
I am an instructor about Vietnam visa, so I'm very interested in issues related to immigration. I think that the successful control to limit illegal immigration is a problem of many developing countries in the world. And many countries have been implemented various measures to achieve success in controlling immigration issues. Through this article I have added some useful information about the new immigration control laws in America. Thanks a lot!
