A Gallup Poll out this week shows that Congress is ending the year with their worst approval rating in history. Congress is set to end the year with an 11 percent approval rating, after spending a the year with an average rating of 17 percent, yet another all-time low for the legislative body. Gallup also found that the overall disapproval rating is at 86 percent, another record-breaking figure.
Independent voters seemed to be the most dissatisfied with a collective approval rating of 7 percent, while the Congressional ratings from Democrats and Republicans reached 14 percent and 12 percent, respectively.
