The race between incumbent Toni Berrios and Will Guzzardi in the Illinois 39th House District is a nail-biter. With just one precinct left to report, Berrios is leading her challenger by just 72 votes, according to Capitol Fax and ABC 7.
The remaining precinct is reportedly in the 31st Ward. The incumbent's father, Cook County Assessor Joe Berrios, is the Democratic Committeeman of that ward.
