Two weeks after filing for a partial recount with the Chicago Board of Elections, Will Guzzardi might file today a petition in Cook County Circuit Court alleging voter fraud against State Rep. Maria Berrios (D-Chicago) as a result of their closely contested March 20 race for 39th District Representative. Guzzardi claims election day irregularities such as inappropriate contact between Berrios operatives and voters. WBEZ reports that the campaign knocked on doors last night to check on a few suspected voting irregularities.

Today is the final day for Guzzardi to file a petition in Circuit Court. The Board of Election final tally that Guzzardi challenged had him losing by 125 total votes.
