Democratic candidate in the 8th congressional district race, Tammy Duckworth, is kicking off her 'American Dream Tour' tonight in Hoffman Estates. Residents of the district are invited to the stops throughout the campaign to meet Duckworth and discuss pertinent issues.
“Each event will be an opportunity for residents to share their own stories and hopes for their American Dream," said Kaitlin Fahey, Duckworth's campaign manager. "Tammy will listen to fellow residents of the 8th Congressional District to learn what they feel they need from their Congressman in order to have an opportunity to achieve their American Dream. The tour reflects Tammy's commitment to the American Dream and making sure it’s there future generations."
