Police arrested eight protesters today for refusing to exit the lobby of President Barack Obama's campaign headquarters in downtown Chicago. The confrontation came on the first day of planned protests related to Chicago hosting the NATO summit this coming Sunday and Monday.

The Catholic Worker Movement organized protesters who entered Obama campaign headquarters. The group said they wanted to have a dialogue about withdrawing U.S. and NATO troops from Afghanistan.
