U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Illinois) released a video yesterday to indicate that he has partly recovered from a stroke suffered January 21. The video shows Kirk using his right arm and hand, with the senator noting that he was first able to walk again July 12.

Kirk states that he speaks with staff each day, but would not say when he might return to the Senate. A Kirk spokesman told the Sun-Times that there is no timetable for his return.
