Here is somewhat good news regarding national jobs numbers: The U.S. Labor Department changed their estimate of how many jobs were created between the end of March 2011 and the end of this March, stating that there were 386,000 new employment positions in that timespan.
This new figure may not provide comfort to Americans struggling to find a job. But it does have political consequences in that President Barack Obama can now say 125,000 jobs total were created since he took office in January 2009. Before the revised numbers, Obama presided over a net job loss.
