The Evergreen Park Federation of Teachers reached a tentative contract deal with the school board this morning, ending a strike that has gone on since October 2. The union and board scheduled a meeting tonight to finalize the agreement and students are expected back in the classroom Monday.

The strike impacted 150 teachers, 60 support staff, and 1,800 students at five different schools. Terms of the new contract have not been released.
