Lecture by Rep. Schakowsky: "What's At Stake In 2008"

On March 25, the 10th Congressional District Democrats are hosting a lecture by Rep. Jan Schakowswky (D-IL) titled "What's At Stake In 2008." The lecture begins at 7pm and takes place at the Deerfield Public Library, 920 Waukegan Road, Deerfield. From the Tenth Dems' website:

Schakowsky has seen firsthand what Republican control has meant to our nation and our world. In this Tenth Dems University event she will also offer her views on how the races are shaping up, what we can expect from a Republican Party that is determined to hold onto power, and what will happen if they succeed.

“Tenth Dems U” – established by the Tenth Congressional District Democrats, or Tenth Dems, for short – is a series of classes designed to teach potential candidates, campaign volunteers and interested voters about the issues facing our community.
The courses consist of one session each, are free of charge and are offered at various locations around the 10th Congressional District.
