While Democratic Rep. Bill Foster has recently suggested to reporters that he may vote against the health care reform bill in the U.S. House this weekend, a fundraising email he sent out yesterday would seem to indicate otherwise. In it, he warns that he is the target of a "brutal" robocall campaign from the conservative group Citizens United, adding: "There is only one real response to this kind of tactic. In these waning days before the critical vote on health care reform is taken, I need your help to stand up to Citizens United -- and stand up for those who desperately need change. We expect the health care vote by Sunday – so please contribute $500, $250, $50, $20 or whatever you can afford ... so I can stand up to Citizens United."
That doesn't sound like a guy who is going to vote no. Click here to read the email in full.
