Chicago workers burst into cheers Thursday after a city council committee advanced legislation to make earned paid sick leave a requirement in the Windy City.
U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor Chris Lu visited Chicago Thursday to talk paid leave policies with business owners, community leaders and local elected officials.
Chicago's No. 11 Lincoln Avenue and 31st Street bus routes will be restored on a pilot basis starting in spring 2016. The CTA is also reviving two express routes.
