U.S. Senatorial candidate Jim Oberweis and 8th congressional district candidate Larry Kaifesh are scheduled to speak at the Tax Day Tea Party event in St. Charles on April 15.

Americans for Prosperity State Director David From and former 8th congressional district congressman Joe Walsh are also slated to speak at the event that is meant "to encourage and educate the audience to participate on a variety of Illinois issues."

"The Tea Party movement for the past five years has not only activated a motivated grass roots citizenry here in Illinois, but produced a new generation of leadership serving at various levels in government keenly focused on the core tenets of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Market Systems," a press release on the event reads.
