Former Illinois congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. will reportedly be released from federal prison on Thursday.
The disgraced congressman is expected to then head to a Washington D.C. halfway house, according to the Associated Press.
Since November of 2013, Jackson Jr. has been serving a two-and-a-half year sentence for misusing some $750,000 in campaign funds. His listed date of release with the Bureau of Prisons is September 20, 2015.

Blagojevich didn't make a dime, didn't take any money, and didn't spend any money he wasn't entitled to. He mad no profit on his crime, yet he was sentenced to 14 years in prison
Blagojevich penalty should be reduced or eliminated.
Jackson spent $750,00 dollars on a 'spending binge' and his wife didn't report $600,000 in income on taxes.
If Jackson get out to a half-way house, the same should be done for Blagojevich.
